“Do Not Be Afraid: You Are Already in the Kingdom”

The lectionary readings this week call us to listen and to rise.
God, who knew us before we were formed,
You call us into your work of mercy.
Christ, who sees us bent low,
You set us free to stand upright in your love.
Spirit who shakes the heavens and the earth,
You kindle in us the fire of a kingdom that cannot be moved.
Give us courage to answer your call,
faith to trust your presence,
and joy to live in Your unshakable kingdom, here and now.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
